SUPPLY OF SWEET COMMODITIES NEARLY FINISHED

[20 June 2022] - The island's sugar crisis was alleviated after a supply from Belize was acquired by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. This shipment was expected to sustain the demand for the precious commodity until the next shipment arrives in July, however, the consumer affairs minister said today that the stock is almost depleted.
