SLMDA PENS LETTER TO TOURISM MINISTER

[20 May 2022] - The Saint Lucia Medical and Dental Association has stated its opposition on the concept of unvaxxed carnival activities. In a letter to the Minister for Tourism, Investment, Culture, Creative Industries and Information, Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire, the SLMDA stated that while it understands the importance of balancing and returning to some semblance of normalcy, the Minister should reconsider the decision to have unvaxxed individuals partake in Carnival activities.
