SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 9 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Wednesday July 14th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed 9 new cases of COVID-19. This is from a batch of 225 samples taken during the period July 10, 2021 to July 13, 2021. These samples were processed on July 13, 2021.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 31 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 and 1 new COVID-19 related death was reported. COVID-19 related death #37 is a 53-year-old male from the Castries district.

As of July 13, 2021 a total of 31, 400 individuals have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 22, 752 individuals have received the second dose.
