SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 87 NEW COVID-19 CASES

Sunday September 26th 2021, Saint Lucia 87 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Saturday, September 25th 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 353 samples which were collected between September 24 and 25, 2021. This number of positive cases makes up 24.6% of all the samples processed on that date

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of seventy-two (72) individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health also reports one (1) new COVID-19 death, a 53-year-old female from the Laborie district.

To date, a total of 35,793 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 29,423 have received the second dose. A total of 9,270 individuals have received the first dose and 1,738 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
