SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 8 NEW COVID-19 CASES
Monday October 25th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed a total of 8 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 102 samples which were collected between October 22 and October 24, 2021. This number of positive cases makes up 7.8% of all the samples processed on that date.
The Ministry of Health also reports six (6) new COVID-19 deaths and three (3) COVID-19 related deaths.
These deaths occurred between September 29 and October 17, 2021.
Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 10 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.
To date, a total of 36,615 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 31,242 have received the second dose. A total of 13,681 individuals have received the first dose and 8,559 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
