SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 63 NEW COVID-19 CASES

Saturday October 2nd 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed 63 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 289 samples which were collected between September 30 and October 1, 2021. This number of positive cases makes up 21.8% of all the samples processed on that date.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 170 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.

To date, a total of 36,091 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 29,758 have received the second dose. A total of 10,529 individuals have received the first dose and 3,699 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
