SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 63 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Wednesday February 9th 2022, Saint Lucia confirmed a total of 63 new cases of COVID-19. These samples were processed on Tuesday February 8, 2022 from a total of 281 samples of which 221 samples were from the Ezra Long Laboratory and 60 samples from the Laboratory Services and Consultations Limited. These samples were collected on February 7, 2022 and February 8, 2022. This number of positive cases makes up 22.42% of all the samples processed on that date.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 335 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.

To date, a total of 51, 642 individuals have been fully vaccinated. Another 5, 869 are partially

vaccinated and 6, 490 have received their booster shot.
