SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 6 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Friday July 9th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed 6 new cases of COVID-19. These results are from a batch of 304 samples taken during the period July 1, 2021 to July 8, 2021. The samples were processed on July 8, 2021.

The Ministry of Health also reports one new COVID-19 related death, an 80-year-old female from the Choiseul district with underlying medical illnesses.

Confirmation was also received today of the recovery of 2 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 and as of July 8, 2021 a total of 31, 229 individuals have received the first dose of the vaccine and 22, 470 individuals have received the second dose of the vaccine
