SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 451 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Wednesday January 19th 2022, Saint Lucia confirmed a total of 451 new cases of COVID-19. These samples were processed on Monday January 18, 2022 from a total of 975 samples of which 928 samples were from the Ezra Long Laboratory and 47 samples from the Laboratory Services and Consultations Limited. These samples were collected from January 15, 2022 to January 18, 2022. This number of positive cases makes up 46.26% of all the samples processed on that date.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 138 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.

To date, a total of 50, 711 individuals have been fully vaccinated. Another 6, 046 are partially vaccinated and 5, 628 have received their booster shot.
