SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 42 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Monday September 6th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed a total of 42 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Sunday September 5, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a batch of 78 samples.

The Ministry of Health also reports 1 new COVID-19 death and 1 new COVID-19 related death. A 69 year old female from the Babonneau district and a 73 year old female from the Micoud district.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 67 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.

To date, a total of 35, 026 individuals have received the first dose of the Astra Zeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 28, 125 have received the second dose. For the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine 4, 463 individuals have received the first dose and 72 individuals have received the second dose.
