SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 41 NEW COVID-19 CASE
Wednesday October 13th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed a total of 41 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 240 samples which were collected between October 11 and October 12, 2021. This number of positive cases makes up 17.1% of all the samples processed on that date.
The Ministry of Health also reports one 1 new COVID-19 death, a 75 year old male from the Castries district.
Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 87 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.
To date, a total of 36,325 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 30,242 have received the second dose. A total of 11,897 individuals have received the first dose and 6,335 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
