SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 37 NEW COVID-19 CASES
Tuesday October 12th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed a total of 37 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 238 samples which were collected between October 6 and October 11, 2021. This number of positive cases makes up 15.5% of all the samples processed on that date.
The Ministry of Health also reports seven (7) new COVID-19 deaths and confirmation was also received of the recovery of 97 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.
To date, a total of 36,291 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 30,188 have received the second dose. A total of 11,760 individuals have received the first dose and 6,065 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
