SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 24 NEW CASES OF COVID-19
Tuesday November 2nd 2021, Saint Lucia confirms a total of twenty-four (24) new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 286 samples which were collected between October 30 and November 1, 2021. This number of positive cases makes up 8.4% of all the samples processed on that date.
The Ministry of Health also reports one (1) new COVID-19 death, a 53-year-old female from the Gros Islet district. which occurred on October 19th.
Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 42 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.
To date, a total of 41,971 Saint Lucians have been fully vaccinated. Another 9426 are partially vaccinated and 257 have received their booster shot.
