SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 23 NEW COVID-19 CASES
Saturday October 30th 2021, Saint Lucia confirms a total of 23 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 366 samples which were collected between October 27 and October 29, 2021. This number of positive cases makes up 6.3% of all the samples processed on that date.
The Ministry of Health also reports one (1) new COVID-19 related death, a 77-year-old female from the Vieux Fort district.
Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 26 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.
To date, a total of 36,767 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 32,091 have received the second dose. A total of 14,440 individuals have received the first dose and 9,690 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
