SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 220 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Thursday September 2nd , 2021,Saint Lucia confirmed 220 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed at the Ezra Long Laboratory on Wednesday September 1, 2021 from a batch of 648 samples.

The Ministry of Health also reports two new COVID-19 deaths, a 79 year old male from the Gros-Islet district and a 48 year old male from the Castries district.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 152 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.

To date 34, 901 individuals have received the first dose of the Astra Zeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 27, 942 have received the second dose. For the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine 3, 175 individuals have received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine and 71 individuals for the second dose.
