SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 22 NEW COVID-19 CASES

Sunday October 17th 2021,Saint Lucia confirmed a total of 22 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 140 samples which were collected between October 15 and October 16, 2021. This number of positive cases makes up 15.7% of all the samples processed on that date.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 46 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.

To date, a total of 36,437 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID- 19 vaccine and 30,579 have received the second dose. A total of 12,646 individuals have received the first dose and 7,038 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
