SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 18 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Friday, July 2nd 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed 18 new cases of COVID-19. This is from a total of 344 samples taken during the period June 28, 2021 to July 1, 2021. These samples were processed on July 1, 2021.

There was also 1 new COVID-19 related death, a 77-year-old female from the Castries district with underlying medical illnesses.

Confirmation was received of the recovery of 9 individuals.

As of June 30, 2021 a total of 30, 902 individuals have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 22, 019 individuals have received the second dose.
