SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 17 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Thursday November 25th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed a total of 17 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 132 samples, which were collected on November 23, 2021 and November 24, 2021. This number of positive cases makes up 12.88% of all the samples processed on that date.

The Ministry of Health also reports one new COVID-19 death, a 56 year old male from the Vieux-Fort district who passed away on November 19, 2021.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 8 individuals diagnosed with COVID- 19.

To date, a total of 45, 823 individuals have been fully vaccinated. Another 8, 222 are partially vaccinated and 1, 394 have received their booster shot.
