SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 17 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Wednesday May 5th 2021 Saint Lucia confirmed 17 new cases of COVID-19 from the Ezra Long Laboratory. This is from a batch of 159 samples taken during the period May 2, 2021 to May 4, 2021. These samples were processed on May 4, 2021.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 9 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 and 1 new Covid-19 related death.

As of May 4, 2021 a total of 24, 653 individuals have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 6, 690 individuals have received the second dose.
