SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 130 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Thursday August 12th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed 130 new cases of COVID-19. This is from a batch of 490 samples taken on August 10, 2021 and August 11, 2021. These samples were processed on August 11, 2021.

The Ministry of Health also reports 1 new COVID-19 related death, a 77-year-old male from the Castries district and 10 recoveries from Covid-19.

As of August 11th 2021, a total of 33, 256 individuals have received the first dose of the COVID[1]19 vaccine and 26, 063 individuals have received the second dose.
