SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 127 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Thursday September 16th 2021, Saint Lucia cnfirmed a total of 127 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 464 samples. This number of positive cases makes up 27.4% of all the samples processed on that date.

The Ministry of Health also reports 7 new COVID-19 deaths and 2 COVID-19 related deaths.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 120 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.

To date, a total of 35, 464 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 28, 838 have received the second dose. A total of 7, 130 individuals have received the first dose and 85 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
