SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 125 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

Wednesday September 22nd 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed 125 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Monday September 20, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 388 samples. This number of positive cases makes up 32.2% of all the samples processed on that date.

The Ministry of Health also reports 1 new COVID-19 death, an 84-year-old male from the Vieux-Fort district.

Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 66 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.

To date, a total of 35, 646 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 29, 156 have received the second dose. A total of 8, 300 individuals have received the first dose and 636 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
