SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 124 NEW CASES OF COVID-19
Friday September 10th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed 124 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Thursday September 9, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 469 samples. This number of positive cases makes up 26.4% of all the samples processed on that date.
The Ministry of Health also reports 2 new COVID-19 deaths and 2 COVID-19 related deaths.
A 54-year-old male from the Castries district, a 71-year-old male from the Vieux-Fort district, a 69-year-old female from the Vieux-Fort district and a 68-year-old male from the Castries district.
Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 74 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.
To date, a total of 35, 275 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 28, 561 have received the second dose. A total of 5, 993 individuals have received the first dose and 76 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
