SAINT LUCIA RECORDS 111 NEW CASES OF COVID-19
Tuesday September 14th 2021, Saint Lucia confirmed 111 new cases of COVID-19. These cases were processed on Monday September 13, 2021 at the Ezra Long Laboratory from a total of 459 samples. This number of positive cases makes up 24.2% of all the samples processed on that date.
The Ministry of Health also reports 3 new COVID-19 deaths and 1 COVID-19 related death, a 51 year old male from the Soufriere district, an 81 year old male from the Castries district, a 72 year old female from the Anse La Raye district and a 70 year old male from the Castries district.
Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 130 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19.
To date, a total of 35, 400 individuals have received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 28, 705 have received the second dose. A total of 6, 745 individuals have received the first dose and 79 individuals have received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
