POLICE WORKING TO STAMP OUT CRIME

[27th June 2022] - Despite interventions by police and supposed negotiations for a ceasefire to gun crime, Saint Lucia continues to record homicides on the island. Chief of Police Milton Desir, who spoke to the media on Monday, says that the police force has its hands full as it relates to crime. He says it continues to be a collaborative effort at reducing crime on the island, which will include the help of the citizenry.
