PAHO SAYS RAMP UP TESTING AND SURVEILLANCE

[18 May 2022] - The Pan American Health Organization is advising countries in the region to step up their vaccination, testing and surveillance efforts. With Covid19 on the rise in the Americas marked by the rise in new infections and fatalities over the last four weeks, PAHO’s Director Dr Carissa Etienne says that countries must follow through with the advice if they are to safeguard the most vulnerable among populations.
