OPPOSITION LEADER ALLEN CHASTANET IS MISSING IN ACTION AS THE HOUSE MEETS FOR ITS FIRST SESSION.

[17TH AUGUST 2021]- Former Prime Minister Allen Chastanet's absence was noticeable as members of the Upper and Lower chambers met for the first sitting of the House following the recently held general elections. The sitting was held on Tuesday, April 17th in accordance with the constitution which stipulates that the first sitting must be held no later than one month after an election.
