Notice to Travellers to Saint Lucia requiring a Travel Authorization Letter.

Castries, 21st January 2022 - The Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Health & Wellness and the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) wish to inform the travelling public that we are experiencing technical difficulties with the Saint Lucia Travel Authorisation Portal that functions via www.stlucia.org/covid19.

The Authorities thus wish to advise travellers and the general public of the following:

EFFECTIVE FOR TRAVEL FRIDAY 21 JANUARY 2022 – WEDNESDAY 26 JANUARY 2022 (INCLUSIVE)

Due to technical difficulties with the Saint Lucia Travel Authorization Portal vaccinated travelers to Saint Lucia may enter the country without a Travel Approval/Travel Authorization Letter. Please note that this is applicable for fully vaccinated* travelers only. The entry requirements for travellers who are not vaccinated or do not have fully vaccinated status remain the same and are noted below.

During the period the following documents are required for boarding your airline or ferry and entry to Saint Lucia:

FULLY VACCINATED TRAVELLERS 1. A negative result from a PCR test taken within 5 days of arrival 2. Vaccination proof *Fully vaccinated means that two weeks has passed since the second dose of a twodose vaccine, or since a single-dose vaccine. Vaccine proof must be presented.

UNVACCINATED TRAVELLERS 1. Travel authorization letter 2. A negative result from a PCR test taken within 5 days of arrival

TRAVELLERS WHO ARE STILL TESTING POSITIVE AFTER COVID INFECTION 1. Travel authorization letter 2. Vaccination Proof if relevant IMPORTANT • If you are unvaccinated, or if you are still testing positive after COVID infection and release from isolation, you are still required to produce a travel authorization letter. To finalize your travel authorization and receive your travel approval letter, please send a full certificate of your negative PCR test results (or if you have a positive test, all of the required documents) by email to tic@stlucia.org, with your name and reference number as the subject. • Agents (airline/ship) must ensure that travelers have the relevant documents before granting permission to board. Persons who refuse to provide proof of negative test should not be boarded. The Authorities deeply regret any inconveniences that this may cause and wish to thank travellers for their patience and understanding.
