MOH SAYS THEY’RE PREPARING FOR THE POSSIBLE ARRIVAL OF THE DELTA VARIANT.

[4TH AUGUST 2021]- To date, only the British variant of the COVID-19 virus has been detected in Saint Lucia. As the island does not have the capacity to test for the various variants, we often have to wait weeks for confirmation from outside bodies. For this reason - as well as the fact that there is an ongoing spike in cases - the Ministry of Health says they are preparing for all possibilities.
