Former Minister calls for a ban on whaling in Saint Lucia

[31st March 2022] - One individual is calling for the ban on the capture and killing of whales in waters around the island because he believes it does not look good for our marketing. Our laws currently allow fishers to legally hunt these mammals. The activist believes this should change.
