Did Richard Frederick eventually form an alliance with the governing St. Lucia Labour Party?

[10th September 2021]- One year later, we are now settling into the results of what turned out to be a somewhat peculiar and historic general election. The Micoud North seat was contested by labour Candidate Jerimiah Norbert, who made history, being the first labour candidate to win what many considered to be the last bastion of the UWP.

Meanwhile, UWP stalwart Stephenson King left the party and ran on an independent ticket, in the constituency he has only lost once since 1987, securing a landslide victory. He is now a government minister in the SLP administration

Did he eventually form an alliance with the governing St. Lucia Labour Party? Well, this clip from the swearing of government ministers in August says it all.
