Coman Fevrier, a St. Lucian national, was discovered dead by Chicago police

[27th JANUARY 2022] - Chicago Police have launched an investigation into the death of St. Lucian Coman Fevrier, a student at North Park University, who had been missing since last week. Fevrier was discovered lying on the ground in the 4700 block of North Kennicott on Sunday around 5:20 am. He was transported to Community First hospital where he was pronounced dead. Coman, 21, last made contact with his sister via text on Saturday, January 22nd around 5:45 pm. He was last seen around 2:30 p.m. the Friday before, at the university's Hanson Hall, 225 West Foster Ave. Friends, neighbours, classmates and teachers have all sung high praise of Fevrier, a gifted musician who excelled on the cello at North Park. A former neighbour described him as having a beautiful soul, and a music teacher described him as magnetic. Fevrier was a former student of Saint Mary’s college and the son of Deacon Peter Fevrier.
