Choice News recently reported on a circulating image, of a document allegedly signed by the Minister of Economic affairs, asking a local company to raise funds that will be spent on a project to replace the country’s existing street lighting with efficient LEDs. In her quest to verify the provenance of this image and the existence of the document, News Editor Janeka Simon took her questions straight to the Minister himself. Unfortunately, she did not make much headway.
